How to Create Zombie Eye Make-up with MUA….

Zombie Make-up on Myself Using MUA
~

Zombies are scary and
they can even be gross if they have been decaying long enough for the stench to
set in. However, it is possible to incorporate a beauty appeal into a zombie with
the use of some eye makeup techniques; a person can have the face of a zombie
while looking "beautiful" at the same time.

Step by step guide to
Zombie eyes:

1. Choose MUA hide and conceal,£1 Always
choose one shade lighter than your skin tone and completely cover any dark
circles. Since the smoky eye is very dark, you want to be certain you have good
coverage here.

~

2. Apply a lighter shade of red all over
your lids right up to the brow as well as the bags under the eyes. Single eye
shadow in ‘Shade 24’,£1 which creates a zombie look to the eyes.

~

3. Use the 3 in 1 black extreme contour
pen,£1.50 to line the top of your lashes and smudge it in with a cotton bud.
Applying the pen to the water line will also add a smoky effect.

The 3 in 1 extreme contour pen is
also fantastic to add shading to the sides of the nose- Don’t be afraid just experiment
with it to create a zombie shaped face.

~

4. To set the eye pen apply darker shades
of colour such as blacks and greys from the ‘Starry Night’ eye shadow palette,
£4 to the outer corner of your eyelid
just up to the crease. Blend in well. Gradually build up to your desired
colour.
~

5. Draw a line along the upper lashes with
MUA black eyeliner in ‘Shade 5’, £1. Start thin at the inner corner of the eye
gradually getting thicker as you work your way out. This liquid eyeliner is
also fantastic to create tiny veins all over your face to give that illusion of
a real zombie.
~

6. To finish the eyes, apply lots of Extreme
volume mascara,£1 but stop before your lashes start to clump. Two coats of a
volumizing mascara should be sufficient.
~

Finally backcombing
your hair, adding eye contacts and blood will bring your beautiful zombie look
together.

Hope you enjoyed this
Zombie look and you have fun re-creating it with MUA products.

Karla’s Tips on How to create witch make-up with MUA products….

Halloween Witch Make-up on Myself

Halloween comes around every year making millions of kids happy of course but what about you? Don't you want to have fun things on Halloween as well? Here is my makeup guide to reflect you normal everyday makeup to a Halloween witch!
~
Halloween Witch Make-up on Myself
I have gone for a witch with Strong evil/pretty eyes.

~
Halloween Witch Make-up on Myself
How to get the look!:
Primer,£4

Shade 5,£1
·         Start off with MUA makeup primer,£4 all over your lid is to keep your makeup in place. Next you will need a single eye shadow in lime green ‘Shade 5’,£1 for a wash of colour… blending up and out towards the brow till it pretty much just fades away.
Shade 7,£1
Shade 13, £1

·         Next you need to intensify that colour with a darker green single eye shadow in ‘Shade 7’,£1 by adding it to the crease following the natural curve of the socket. Add a touch of single eye shadow in black/blue in ‘Shade 13’, £1 to intensify and make the eyes appear more evil.
Shade 1, £1
·         Lighten under the brow line in a single pearl eye shadow in ‘Shade 1’,£1 and use a round makeup brush to smudge it the two colours together starting from the outside in.

3 in 1 Extreme Contour Eye Pen, £1.50
·         Go DRAMATIC on the eyeliner and do wear lots of mascara or false eyelashes. Create a cat eye effect with the 3 in 1 contour eye pen in ‘Black’, £1.50 to define and shape the eyes.
Shade 4, £1
·         Don't forget your blush but use this to contour under the cheek bones rather on the apples of the cheeks for a more sculpted witch look. Use blusher ‘Shade 4’, £1.
Shade 1,£1

·         To get those perfect witches red lips I love using ‘Shade 1’, £1!!!

~

Anyone can be a witch but only those with the true know-how!
Have fun this Halloween, and watch out for all those other evil witches!
Look out for more Halloween looks with MUA.

Make-up I did for Annabelle's Wigs New Collection Launch at Daniel Galvin!

Annabelles New Collection- The bun- £36.00

~

I had Sooo much fun doing make-up for Annabelle’s wigs new collection launch. I have been a huge fan of Annabelle’s for a long time now and have over 30 of their beautiful wigs/hair pieces at home, which I use for personal use, photo shoots or just for those fancy dress parties!
~
Annabelles New Collection-The clip in high pony tail
 extension- £45
~

Annabelle lives and breathes wigs.  With sound advice and guidance from the industries best stylists and tips from leading burlesque performers, Annabelle put pen to paper to design high quality, on trend and beautiful wigs.
Annabelle’s wigs are busy keeping an eye on all emerging hair trends so that her service is kept contemporary, exceptional and personal.  Her specialities include women’s hair pieces including full wigs, ¾ wig (which I love and use), brightly coloured wigs, top buns, hair pieces, clip in extensions and fringes, all made from the best quality synthetic fibre.

Me and the other make-up artist with The models wearing the New Collection!

~
So the launch of her new collection yesterday was ‘Annabelles Hair Couture’ which is the NEW hair piece specialists teaming up with Lino Carbosiero who has produced a pro unique collection!
Being creative with The New Collection buns
~
The new collection is a revolutionary hair fibre, called FlaxiHair, the pices not only feel like real hair, they can be straightened and curled. FlexiHair can withstand heat up to 120 Celsius. The NEW eight piece collection ranges from beautiful straight pony tails to an extra-long and full extension. Each piece in the collection comes in nine different colours, ranging from platinum blonde to black. Trust me you will fall in love with these pieces. My favourite ones are ‘The versatile plait’ and ‘Long, layered extension’ to give you that instant glam, I was very lucky to walk away with this piece!
~
Make-up products & Inspiration for the
launch

~

Key make-up artist Amy Prifti and my-self created the make-up looks with MUA cosmetics for the launch which complemented all the hair pieces- making the eyes strong and keeping the lips nude so the focus was still on the hair pieces. I opted for a purple smoky eye which is one of the major trends for makeup this coming Autumn Winter season, and is an old favourite, the smoky eye!

Here is one of the looks I created...

Top Tip Tuesday for Winter Make Up

Winter challenges your skin and makeup more than any other season. So here are my tips on what you need to know to give your skin the extra care and attention it needs, plus tips on beauty products for achieving the right winter look.

Karla’s Top Tips for Winter Make-up:
·       MUA’s Trio Eye shadows in ‘Chocolate Box’, £2.50 are the perfect understated shades for winter eyes, such as coffee, chocolate and smoky shades.
Chocolate Box
·       Berry tones for lips replace the fresh summer face, MUA lipstick in ‘Shade 1’, £1 has those berry tones.
Shade 1
·       Use blackberry (shade 22) and copper (shade 7) MUA nail polish, £1 each to darken your nails. It is perfect for the season.
Shade 22
Shade 7
·       Try coloured mascara like navy, burgundy, and auburn that gives lashes a subtle colour and some depth as well, without looking too obvious. MUA Mascara, £1 in ‘Shade 4’ has a beautiful pay off for that auburn winter look.
Shade 4
·       Winter calls for more defined eyes. So, you should use a rich brown eyeliner or charcoal liner along your upper lashes. MUA eye liner in ‘Rich Brown’, £1 glides easily onto the eyes giving it that natural subtle winter look.

Defined Eyes

·       It is a good idea to opt for neutral shades of makeup, such as light browns, greys, pinks and purples our ‘Dusk til Dawn’ palette, £4 is perfect for this colour combination.
Dusk til Dawn
·       If you want to draw attention to only one area of your face during winter, it is best to put emphasis on your eyes. A smoky eye look will work well during this time of year. Smoky eyes look best in winters. For sultry effect, you can use eye shadows in cinnamon and coffee shades… ‘Heaven & Earth’ palette, £4! Has an amazing colour combination for sultry effects.
Heaven & Earth
·       Keep your lips moisturised in order to prevent them from becoming cracked and dry. It is a good idea to apply a lip-gloss throughout the day and I love using MUA lip gloss in ‘Shade 4’,£1.
Shade 4

·       A light, matte foundation as well as a tinted powder, with a slight shimmer, look great in winters. Try our MUA Matte foundation, £2.

Use these winter makeup tips to sizzle this season, and don’t forget to share it if you like it with your friends on Facebook or Twitter. Enjoy winter!
