MUA's Back to School Essentials

It's almost time to go back to school!  Here at MUA Towers we thought we would put together our Back to School essentials for £5!

Our Matte Perfect Shine Control Foundation is light weight on your skin, but will also keep that shine at bay! We've got 3 shades for you to choose from and it is perfect for all skin types!

Next we've chosen our £1 Blusher in Lolly - this is a great shade for both the Summer and Winter, as it's really on trend and also will add warmth to your cheeks!

For day to day it's great to go for a natural look - our Sheer Finish Lipgloss Tubes are great for this! They give you just the right amount of colour and a gorgeous glossy pout! At just £1 we'd find it hard to resist!

Lastly, we've chosen our £1 Mascara in Black - this is great for everyday and will give you lovely long lashes with lots of volume!

Colour Blast Eyeshadow Tints - Swatches!

 Our Colour Blast Eyeshadow Tints give you long lasting cream colour!  The pen style design makes them really easy to apply, and they blend so easily, leaving you with a smooth creamy colour.

Wear them alone for a cool colour block eye look, or use together to create some seriously statement eyes!

Stay - a lovely champagne shade, great to use in the centre of your lid, to really open your eyes and also doubles up as a lovely highlighter!

Diamonds - a pretty pink shade with a slight gold shimmer, great for the Summer! It also looks absolutely lovely on your lips!

A Girl Like Me - a really wearable taupe shade, great to use in your socket line during the day to give you that extra bit of depth, or as the lighter shade in a neutral smokey eye!  This is a real must have for you blue eyed ladies, it will make your eyes pop!

 Bring It Back - a bronzey brown shade, which will suit anyone! Use as an eyeshadow, or smudge under your eye for a gorgeous bronze smokey liner!

 Loud - Plum shades are set to be huge in the Autumn, so pick this one up to stay on trend! Create a smokey eye look with a difference by swapping out the black for this deep purple tint.  Green eyed ladies this is your new best friend!

Unfaithful - no eyeshadow range is complete without a gunmetal grey - this Colour Blast is buildable, so you can go for a subtle grungey liner, or build for some seriously smouldering eyes!

MUA products to use in more way than one!

Here at MUA Towers we think the best thing about makeup is experimenting and seeing all the different looks you can create - you can use a lot of make up products in more than one way!

 

We thought we'd do a blog post on the products that we use slightly differently - it's fun to find new ways to use something you already have and also great if you're travelling light as one product can double up!

 

The first one we chose was our FashionistA Gel Liner in Dress Down Cool - it's a great brown shade that can be used to create a winged liner, a smokey liner and also an eyeshadow!  The creamy texture means that our Gel Liners are really blendable, and once they've dried they won't budge!

 

 

 

Our second product is our Cream Blusher - you can choose whichever shade you like - but we've gone for Scrummy as it's a lovely shade on both cheeks and lips.  Apply your Cream Blusher with your fingers or our F6 Blusher and Contouring Brush on the apples of your cheeks and sweep up to the top of your cheekbones for a rosy cheeked glow!  You can also pat it onto your lips for a slight tint, or apply with our L1 Lip Brush for more intense colour. 

 

The third product that we've chosen is our Shimmer Kisses Bronzer - the 4 shade blocks mean it's great to use as a Bronzer, Highlighter and an Eyeshadow!
