new mua cosmetics: Get Nicki Minaj Inspired Eye Make-up with MUA…

I've been meaning to do a Nicki Minaj makeup look for a while with MUA eye shadows and I finally got around to doing an eye look with MUA’s Poptastic eye shadow palette. Watching Nicki’s music videos and all the awards she attends to she is most certainly not afraid to wear all the colours of the rainbow and to experiment with make-up. It’s a love hate relationship with Nicki- But I love all her make-up looks they always inspire me to get creative and to not be afraid of colour, and they can be easily re-created with MUA’s bright pigmented eye shadows! This is not so much a wearable look but it’s a chance to play and to experiment with make-up. I hope you enjoy this tutorial and it encourages you to play with colour!

Get the Look using MUA Cosmetics:

Poptastic Palette- £4

Intense Coloured eyeliner in 'Lovely Lilac'-£1

'Snow White'- £1

Shade 5 Black Liquid Eyeliner- £1

Extreme Curl Mascara- £2

False Eyelashes in style 'Glam' £2

Get the Look:

Step 1:

Apply 'Lovely Lilac' Eyeliner all over your eyelids

Step 2:

Apply 'Snow White' eyeliner into the crease of the eye just on top of the purple lids and wing this out.

Step 3:

With an oval brush and using the purple shade out of the Poptastic palette, set and press this shade on top of 'Lovely Lilac' eyeliner.

Step 4:

Load a smaller over brush with the pink shade from the Poptastic palette and apply this on top of 'Snow White' eyeliner slightly winging the eyeshadow out.

Step 5:

Gently apply Shade 5 Black liquid eyeliner on top of your lash line to create a strong eyeliner flick.

Step 6:

Apply 'Snow White' to your bottom water line.

Step 7:

Cut 'Glam' False eyelashes to fit your eye shape, flex them and then apply glue to the strip until tacky you then can apply false eyelashes on top of your natural lash line at the roots. Finally apply Extreme Curl mascara in order to blend your natural lashes into the false ones.
