Sea Toned Trends . The Beautiful Blues Of Summer with MUA

I am feeling a little blue after this long bank holiday weekend and I just couldn’t help pick out lots of beautiful blue shades from my MUA collection. So whether you lengthen lashes with cobalt coloured mascara, dust eyelids with sapphire blue MUA eye shadows, or paint nails with beautiful shades of blue, blue hues are a key actually a big beauty trend this Spring/Summer and I think most people get scared to play with blue shades. Shade 6 Eye Dust

Powder pigments, are pure colour and are made to be used as a base ingredient in many parts of your makeup routine. They are strong, bold pigments and can be used pretty much everywhere - like eye shadow, blush, and even can be added to clear gloss to use on your lips. Using these strong pigments correctly takes a bit of time and a careful hand, and should certainly not be done when you're in a rush.

Extreme Volume Mascara in Shade 2- Black/Brown

Many people going for a natural look use brown mascara. It can make your lashes look longer or thicker, without darkening them to much. For a person like you who is tanned, black mascara is perfect because you have a slightly darker skin tone and it doesn't over power your eyes.

End-Of-Summer Beauty Makeup Idea Inspired by Mollie King

 There’s just something so summery about Mollie’s hair, makeup and nails lately looking stunning in LA! So I wanted to share how to get this beautiful look!

 Step 1:

For a flawless complexion, sweep on BB cream -£3 using a foundation brush. Then use a large blusher brush to buff bronzed perfection bronzer-£3 over your T-zone and chin – the place where a natural tan would develop first. 

Then sweep Shade 1-£1 blusher over just the apples of your cheeks for a rosy glow.

Step 2

For Mollie’s pretty peepers, apply Innocent trio eyeshadow set-£2.50 over the entire top lid, into the socket line and blend up to the brow bone. 

Then glide Extreme felt eyeliner -£2 , along the top lash line to intensify, then apply two layers of Every lash mascara along the top and bottom lashes-£3.

Step 3

Finally, finish off with a glossy pout with any shades from our lip gloss tube in shade £1 each.

Dusk till Dawn Eyeshadow Palette Swatches

A lot of you last week loved my blogpost on my Glitterball Palette swatches. So I am excited to bring you another swatch post of one of my favourite palettes from MUA. In fact this palette is not raved about as much as it should be, it’s just beautiful JAnd as usual the eye shadows are very highly-pigmented. 

All 12 shades are somewhat powdery but are also soft and easy to blend into any eye look. The shades I mostly use from the palette are the pinkish and taupe shades in everyday life and the black shade is perfect for a powerful evening smoky eye look.
