How to wear your make-up to a Festival this summer with MUA

Festival season is finally here and some of you would have planned your outfits already, as for me make-up and hair comes first and you all want to look festival-fabulous! And if you are like me and can't bare the thought of going make-up free to one of the highlights of the year then get gorgeous (even when you’re stuck in a tent) with this summer make-up look I have created on 13 year old Lauren - one of MUA’s fans who has been in MUA towers again today where I am giving her a mini makeover and teaching her the low down on how to wear her make-up to any festival this year with a summer twist using on budget MUA products!

Lauren gave me a little insight into what festival she is attending this year and what needs she wants from her make-up look with MUA cosmetics.

“I'm going to the V festival and I would really like a cool look that stands out, because i'm going to be wearing fairly boring clothes! My friends will be taking lots of pictures throughout the festival so I want my make up to stay put all day and night”

Here are my solutions to achieve the perfect summer look for V festival Lauren will be attending this year:

·         Trio eye shadow set in Innocence- A glamorous day look in an instant that- the complimenting eye shadows set in subtle browns and creams with a slight green shimmer to help take your look from day to night in an instant. The eye shadows have an amazing pay off lasting you hours. It's only £2.50 too which means more money to spend at the festival!

·         Brush on Concealer Pen, £2. With the late nights and maybe some of you dancing lots and maybe the odd shower in our horrible English weather- MUA  concealer is an essential! Dot it on and blend with fingers, so you can brighten up your eyes in an instant!

·         Water Proof Mascara, £1- Unless you're going for the panda-eyes effect smudged mascara is never a good look. So here MUA have waterproof mascara to last 24hours and if you lose it there’s no worry being a £1 if you're feeling brave then you could coat lashes before you leave for the weekend and really put it to the test! It may not stay lash-perfect but if it's longevity you're after then this is the mascara for you.

·         Liquid foundation - BB Cream, £4 Your skin needs to breathe, so the lighter the makeup, the better and BB Cream does everything- light coverage but primes, covers and conceals all in one  giving your complexion healthy look. If you have oily skin looks for mattifying tissues to take with you in your bag, which absorb sebum rather than hide it under cover.

·         Mosaic Blusher in ‘English Rose’, £2.50 This brilliant blusher which has four separate colours mixed together so you can use them individually (the pink makes a fab iridescent blusher and the creamy white an illuminating highlighter) or swirl together for a perfectly summer glow on your cheeks.  The formula also makes skin look amazingly peachy soft. It might not be tiny in size but this is worth the bag-space. Love, love, love it.

·         Nectar Lipstick in shade 16, £1. This lipstick fits in your bag perfectly! With a moisturising formula and a hint of colour this lipstick is a must have for the festival season to keep your lips looking healthy!
