MUA Summer Looks!

As we're (hopefully) coming into Summer, here at MUA Towers we thought we would share some of our favourite holiday make up and nail looks!

Brights

Brighten up your make up and give it a summery twist by adding a pop of colour!

Here we have added our Gel Liner in Tribe on our bottom lash line - keep the rest of your make up quite neutral for a day look, or team with a smokey eye for a dramatic evening look!

 Coral Lips

It's no secret that we're fans of the coral lip trend this Summer! Why not try using our Lipstick in 'Shade 16 Nectar', it gives you a coral hue but without being too over-powering, so it's completely wearable for day or night!

Pastels

Pastel shades are great for Summer, they're really pretty and they also bring out your tan! ;)  We've got our £1 Nail Polish in 'Lush Lilac' on our fingers here and 'Pistachio Ice Cream' in our hand.

Fun Accent Nails

Here we have used 'Lush Lilac' as our base colour, with 'Pistachio Ice Cream' on the tips of our nails for a pretty pastel twist on a French Manicure!

- Use a waterproof plaster or some tape across your nail to give yourself a straight line to do your tips!

For the accent nail we used 'Pistachio Ice Cream', 'Frozen Yoghurt' and 'Perfect Coral' from our FashionistA range!

- All you need is some Nail Polish and a thin straw!

Step 1: Paint your base colour over your entire nail

Step 2: Take one of the other shades you have selected and drop a dot of Nail Polish onto your nail, take the straw, and blow as hard as you can!  You need to work pretty quickly as it will become harder to achieve the look as the Nail Polish dries.

Step 3: Repeat with the other shades that you have selected until you get a design you like!

Step 4: Add a clear top coat on your entire nail and sweep across the end of your nail to avoid chipping and to make your nails lovely and shiny!

To avoid getting your fingers messy, tape around the edges of your nail so when it's done you just peel the tape away and there's no mess!
