new mua cosmetics: Do Sixties Make-up Like Little Mix

I am in love with Little Mix’s eye make-up from last night’s X Factor Live final! So to celebrate their much deserved win I have recreated their eye make-up look for you Little Mix fans to re-create using MUA cosmetics.

It’s all about the eyes for this look, with big eyes inspired by Twiggy in the 1960s…

Here's how I got this look:

1. Apply intense colour eye liner pencil in ‘Silver Sparkle’, £1 all over the eyelid then smudge in with your finger. This acts as a great base for your eye shadows to stick too.

2. Set the silver sparkle eyeliner with the lightest white eye shadow from the trio eye shadow set in ‘Smoke Screen’, £2.50 all over the eye lids.

3. Now, with the darkest eye shadow shade in the Smoke Screen trio set, fill in your crease. This will define your eyes more.

4. To get those sparkly eyes… Gently apply the silver glitter gel eyeliner in shade 1, £1 to the inner corner of the eye.

5. With Shade 5 liquid eyeliner, £1 slowly, with small movements, brush along your lash line. This is also known as 'feathering’. As you go outwards, steadily make the line much thicker. Apply the liquid eyeliner to the bottom lash line and bring this out from the outer corner. Remember not to join the top line and the bottom line together as you want a gap to this area to re-create little mix’s eyes. This gap can also be filled in with the silver Shade 1 gel glitter eyeliner, £1.

6. Using the Extreme Curl Mascara in ‘Jet black’, £1 move the mascara wand in a zigzag pattern through your lashes from the base to the tip and wait at least 10 seconds between applying coats. This makes your lashes look thicker and longer.
