How to get this ‘Swan’ inspired make-up look inspired by Swan eyes, feathers and of course a swans orange beak! This look was inspired by swans’ black eyes, their feathers which I then created into an eye design, and as the song states the swans are swimming so I added blue under the eye design as if my eyes were swans swimming on water and then for that touch of Christmas magic I added silver and blue glitter to the eyes. Finally using the Swan’s beak as inspiration I added an orange tone to my lips.
Step 1:
Apply a silver pearl eye shadow from the Glamour Night’s palette, £4 over the entire eyelid, underneath the lash line and then bringing the silver right up to the eyebrows.
Step 2:
Using intense colour eye liner in Shade ‘Jet Black’, £1 and apply this to the top and bottom water line.
Step 3:
To get dark black swan eyes apply liquid eyeliner in Shade 5, £1 to the lower lash line and extend this into the inner corner of the eyes to create a cat eye look.
Step 4:
Now apply the black eyeliner in Shade 5, £1 to the top lash line and extend a flick to the outer corner of the eyes.
Step 5:
Following your natural crease line connect your top and bottom eyeliner together in your natural crease using the intense colour eyeliner in Shade ‘Jet Black, £1.
Step 6:
To create swan like feather’s using the black liquid eyeliner in Shade 5, £1 extend out tiny flicks with a steady hand, making sure you leave gaps and they all connect together.
For extra Christmas magic I applied the silver gel glitter eyeliner in Shade 1, £1 all over the eyelid area avoiding any of the black eyeliner. Also apply any silver glitter between the feather flick designs.
Step 8:
Using blue liquid eyeliner in Shade 2, £1 I lightly applied tiny flicks under my eye design to give the effect of swans swimming on water.
Step 9:
For extra Christmas magic I applied the blue gel glitter eyeliner in Shade 5, £1 over the top of the blue liquid eyeliner.
Step 10:
To make those eyes look fiercer apply extreme curl mascara, £2 to the top and bottom eyelashes.
Step 11: Finally to create orange tone lips I used the intense colour eyeliner in Shade ‘Bright Orange’, £1 all over the lips. This eyeliner sets wonderful and makes a perfect lipstick!
