On Trend MUA Blue Eyeliner for your Saturday Night…

The Inspiration...

Backstage at Spring 2011 Fashion Week saw tons of funky makeup looks I loved. Over and over again I was told that most of these looks were wearable in real life, as for this blue eyeliner look I loved I don’t think many of you would be brave enough to wear in the day (I know I wouldn’t) so I have been inspired to create this look into a Saturday night look for a special occasion, maybe this could be a new look you rock in 2012?

  My Take on Bold blue eyeliner’s shown at Spring 2011 Fashion Week using Shade 2 (Blue) eyeliner, £1 with lots of layers of the MUA extreme curl volume mascara, £2.

To complement the bold turquoise eyeliner, remember to chose an equally striking colour for the lips in orange such as MUA’s New ‘Out There’ plumping lip-gloss  in Shade ‘Sienna’, £2 which is a subtle coral orange tone. My tips on how to apply liquid eyeliner...



• It is important to apply along the roots of the upper lashes, working up and out from the inner corners outwards, try to draw in one smooth motion.
• The liner should be thicker in the outer corner of the eyes to make them look bigger.
• Use some cleanser on a cotton swab to wipe away any mistakes you made.

Some felt tip liquid liners such as our extreme felt liner in shade black is perfect for the flexibility of the tip; this will make a difference in the results you will receive.
